Signs of Resistance–Creating an Effective Protest Poster

As a participant in the day-long event entitled “The Power of Voice” The Intersection of Social Justice and the Arts, I will be working with a small group of self-selected students to teach them the basics of the text, typography, and imagery of powerful poster design. The 90-minute session will include a review of samples of my own work as well as images from protest movements throughout history up through current events.
